FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 Final: Will it be Chile or Germany?

FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 Final: Will it be Chile or Germany?

Chile will be taking Germany on Sunday’s Confederations Cup 2017 final. The final between the youngest against the oldest. For Chile it’s their third final in a row. Copa America 2015 Champions, Copa America 2016 Champions and now they are in Confederations Cup 2017. Will they repeat the history on Sunday at the Krestovsky stadium in Saint Petersburg.

Germany demolished Mexico in the semis. For the first time since the France of 1998 Mexico came back from a losing position in all three other group stage matches and went on to get either a win or a draw from them. And also in 1998 Mexico went on to get Germany in the Round of 16 and they lost the match.

Chile is a world class team. Germany looks really impressive and they have got better with each game but they are poorest defensively. For Germany, they know that Chile has explosive individuals.

Claudio Bravo always plays well for his country, so far giving up one goal in two games and Claudio Bravo saved three penalties in their shootout against Portugal and he was the hero, the man of the match. So if we take this point the advantage of goalkeeper goes to Chile.

Chile have three guys in the middle of the park who have all played magnificently in this tournament. Arturo VidalCharles Aranguiz and Marcelo Diaz, who are tough to break down in their movements, they efficient in their movements and their clever in winning the ball. They are highly intelligent in their transition into the attack.

And the fun fact is that youngest players can put up confidence, momentum and the Germans have both. But does that mean the Germans are going to win?!
