Confederations Cup 2017 Semi-final: Chile is going to Final on the wings of Hero Bravo
‘Once again Claudio bravo proved Chile’s hero on Wednesday in Confederations cup 2017’ as he saved all three penalties to reach the final by eliminating Portugal in the penalty shootout following a draw 0-0 after extra time.
Over 120 minutes, it looks like there will be a twist in the game which decide the game, but nothing happened.
Referee denied the penalty for Chile in the extra time and this created a controversy in Confederations cup 2017. Francisco Silva was making his way to goal, at that time Jose Fonte came across and blocked the way. And Jose Fonte made a contact to block him and Francisco Silva fell down on the floor.
And two other effort by Chile were return back by hitting the ball in the goal post. Both teams reached near to a gal in the first 10 minutes, but that didn’t converted to a goal and after that they did not get a chance. Then Chile taken control over the game.
Chile reached the final of Confederations Cup 2017 by beating the Portugal 3-0 in semi-final shootout. Chile goal keeper Claudio bravo resisted 3 kicks of Portugal.
Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sanchez, Charles Aranguiz took their penalty and that paved their way to final. Claudio bravo hadn’t played the first two matches of the tournament (confederations cup 2017). But the 34-year-old Manchester City’s Bravo made his presence in the semi-final by blocking the kicks of Ricardo Quaresma, Nani and Joao Moutinho.

Chile will now face the World Champions Germany on Sunday in “Confederations Cup 2017 final”
